Travelling to Kenya at the start of 2005 was definately a cool
trip - a true adventure windsurfing travel surfari that included exploring reefs
and waters that had never been windsurfed ever before just down the coast from
the excelent H2O Extreme windsurfing and kitesurfing centre, a two day safari
in the Masi Mara and white water rafting on the Tana river in the foothills
of Mount Kenya. During the trip I competed in the Kenya Cup - a small invitatational
event that combined windsurfing and kitesurfing togther and while competing
for an overall title of best rider I managed to achieve best windsurfer in waves
which I was pleased about.
